Day 6: Behavioral Science and a Run

Well, it took me just 30 minutes to read the first chapter of BRS Behavioral Science (Board Review Series). It was incredibly interesting and required very little effort to read. The questions at the end of the chapter and reviewing the answers took me only 15 more minutes! I got 13 out of 16 of the review questions correct, by the way. That’s not too bad considering this is my first exposure to the subject. I think Behavioral Science will continue to be a good filler for when I get bored reading the same ole’ dull stuff. Oh cool, this book is 26 chapters. It looks dense, but, considering how smoothly the first chapter went, I can expect to fly through this book comfortably, God willing.

After the 30 minute read, I repeated the same ole’ 20 minute run I had done yesterday. When I was done with that little break and dinner, I finished off the questions from the chapter in 15 minutes. Well, I’m gonna’ hit Lippincott’s Illustrated Reviews: Pharmacology (Lippincott’s Illustrated Reviews Series) again. Chapter 3/Unit 2, here I come! I’m gonna’ be looking at the basis of the Autonomic Nervous System. And, the remaining 4 chapters of Unit 2 are gonna’ get into some detail on the drugs that affect the Autonomic Nervous System.
